The Academy of Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre is pleased to announce several summer options for all dancers!  We have a variety of workshops and intensives available for all ages.  More information is included below:

Princess and Pirate Camp- July 10th and 11th (10:30 am-2:00 pm)Join us for a themed day camp intended for our younger dancers and movers.  Our princesses and pirates will enjoy two days of dance, drama, music, and crafts!  Each day will include dance instruction in two different styles.  Students will learn about singing and acting in our Music and Drama classes.  Finally, our young artists will create some crafts to take home with them! 
For ages 3-8
$75 per student

Fairy Tale Camp- July 17th and 18th (10:00 am-2:00 pm)Join us for a themed day camp intended for our younger dancers and movers.  Our adventurers will enjoy two days of dance, drama, music, and crafts!  Each day will include dance instruction in two different styles.  Students will learn about singing and acting in our Music and Drama classes.  Finally, our young artists will create some crafts to take home with them!

Behind the Curtain- July 19th through July 23rd (4:00 pm-8:00 pm)NEW THIS YEAR!  Our Behind the Curtain intensive introduces dancers to the behind-the-scenes of producing a show.  Each day will begin with a technique class, followed by instruction in choosing music, structuring a piece, creating movement, designing costumes, and much more!  Dancers will create a show, which parents will be invited to watch the final evening. 
For ages 8-18

Ballet Intensive- July 31st (9:30 am- 3:00 pm)This one-day workshop focuses on refining ballet technique and pushing dancers to the next level in their performance.  The day will begin with a conditioning class, followed by ballet technique, pointe/pre-pointe, and variations/choreography.  Dancers attending this workshop will definitely see improvement in their ballet technique! 
For ages 11-18
$100 per student

Modern and Jazz Intensive- August 1st (9:00 am- 2:30 pm)This one-day workshop focuses on refining modern and jazz technique and pushing dancers to the next level in their performance.  The day will begin with a conditioning class, followed by modern technique, jazz technique, floorwork, and repertoire.  Dancers attending this workshop will definitely see improvement in their modern and jazz technique! 
For ages 11-18
$100 per student
