Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre will present a pre-season concert this August 26-28 with the popular production of UNDER THE BIG TOP.  Created by Artistic Director Gregory Hancock and inspired by the legendary traveling gypsy circus of Eastern Europe, the dancers, accompanied by Traditional Circus and Gypsy music, will entertain audiences as circus characters sharing their life stories draped in joy, melancholy and dreams.  With an element of surprise, audiences will meet the Tarantella girls, Fortune Teller, Lion Tamer, Clowns, the “Backyard” Girl and the Sideshow performers.  You are invited to an extravaganza of yesteryear to experience the laughter and magic of the circus in GHDT’s UNDER THE BIG TOP.

Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre is the resident, professional dance company at The Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, Indiana.
